Our Company

Summit Views LLC, a small business based in Watsonville, CA, was founded in 2001 to help promote renewable resource solutions. Early on, we recognized an opportunity to develop an environmentally-preferable fuel made from surplus woody biomass, and the GoodwoodŽ Brand was born. Our mission became clear: make a difference in how our community uses our local biomass resources. In 2005, we began construction of our R&D location in Watsonville, CA and are now manufacturing our lead product, GoodwoodŽ Firelogs, a cleaner-burning solid fuel for use in fireplaces, woodstoves and campfires. We are working with local mills and tree service companies to divert surplus woody biomass from landfills, helping to reduce waste, clear the air, and promote sustainable forest management practices at the same time.
